Picture Tapping Technique (PTT)

Come and experience PTT Therapy in the Forest of Dean and discover how helpful this technique can be for resolving all sorts of issues!

Picture Tapping Technique (PTT) combines drawing a series of simple drawings with EFT tapping.

It is a gentle and fun technique that can resolve issues surprisingly quickly. I like to use it when clients are overwhelmed with complex issues and 'don't know where to start' or when the issue seems very global in nature.

A session of PTT can give you a lot of clarity and relief from challenging problems that - until now - don't appear to have an answer. It's particularly helpful when you've done a lot of thinking or talking and you're STILL stuck, OR if you're the sort of person that can't find the words to describe something.

In fact, if you want to work on something which you don't want to discuss, you don't need to with PTT. I don't even need to know what the issue is, and you don't need to tell me anything - you just draw, we tap together and you continue drawing until you find resolution. It's that simple!

Don't be put off by the idea of drawing pictures. We're not looking for art. If you can draw a scribble on a page, you can use PTT successfully. Often clients are amazed by what they draw and how quickly they can resolve things without needing to talk about it. Using simple images that seem to come out of the pens by themselves, gives you direct access to your subconscious where resolution to issues that have plagued you for years can take place.

Here are what some clients have to say:

MT, 65

"I found PTT revealing, and surprisingly perceptive. I found it helpful how the process was showing me how I could change my approach or behaviour to the issue that I came with. At the end of the session, I definitely felt some emotional and psychological changes in the way I viewed things."

MJ, 46

"I loved our session. i thought it was very powerful... I couldn't quite believe all that emotion I released. I was both laughing and crying. Laughing is massively powerful. I was releasing sadness at the same time, but it was like my body was testing out the pure hilarity of being allowed to draw and say something that was just ridiculous.. . and having nobody correcting what I was saying, being able to say something so randon and nobody saying 'what the fuck are you on about' and no negative reaction to it. It was freeing. "

JA, 36

"I thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from my PTT sessions. I found the PTT process to be both cathartic and eye-opening. The sessions helped me to see how this life-long phobia could be addressed. It gave me hope that some progress can be made and provided me with some tools to start the process."
